Large Aperture Radar
Trex Enterprises' large aperture programs are based on Trex’s patented Rapid Optical Beam Steering (ROBS) technology. This cutting-edge technology combines sensitive target detection capabilities and rapid repositioning. We have successfully demonstrated this technology at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) and currently at the Pacific Missile Range Facility (PMRF) on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai.
Small Aperture Laser Radar
Trex Enterprises has developed several small aperture optical systems based on a rapidly steerable small light-weight mirror, which permits searching large areas while at the same time tracking with high accuracy.
Millimeter-wave Radar
Trex Enterprises is developing sophisticated yet user-friendly millimeter-wave aviation systems to address the problem of landing helicopters and aircraft in fog, dust, and haze. Our cameras allow pilots to detect obstacles not visible with a naked eye in a flight path. Our objective is to provide a safer field-of-view for our military personnel and commercial pilots.
